I started my conversion several years ago with 2014 Leaf Gen 2 stack and 24 kwh leaf modules. Purchased many parts individually so has been hard to reverse engineer and have been reliant on web forums such as DIY electric car; the deep dive electric vehicle conversion book; OEM manuals and Issac's how-to guide. I am using of course the RESOLVE controller, but also engine adapter and coupler from BRAT industries. After a couple of tries was able to get the coupler to fit using a clutch plate hub and help of Prosise Metal works.
The batteries are modules from 24kwh pack. Purchased both as-is from another ev conversion builder who had already reformed the modules into what I am calling two sets that you see in my pictures. For each set I have a large set bms bus bar orange thing. To make this work I had to do some rewiring of the bms harness which involved re-pinning the connectors. I was able to locate and find connectors (Mouser) similar to what nissan used in the original bms harness. I purchased the little pins (both male and female) along with a crimper. Now the bms control module sees the same modules as it did when the configuration of modules came out of the pack. My next work is to create an "extension cord" that will allow both battery sets to lie end-to-end like you see in the photo. I have pinout diagram I drew that might help anyone that wants to do same thing I can share if interested and/or can put up photos.

Interested in knowing more about your batteries, looks like the big module from 2 different packs, yes? How will you be setting up the BMS?
