    Hi, all.

I am updating my controller and following the online instructions.

My controller appears as COM3 when I connect it and refresh the BOSSA app.
When I select COM3, the error message appears as required.
Then after I close the error message, I do not get a new COM port number as described in the instructions.

    Thanks in advance.

Could you send a screenshot of what it looks like? Do you have a Resolve controller with an USB-C or micro USB connector?

@isak please could you advise any extra steps I could try like clearing/manual resetting the microcontroller to enable connection, or if any of the configuration solder links might affect connection?

Alternatively I have access to an electronics lab if you could guide me through firmware update using JTAG/Atmel studio if this is an option. My soldering should be good enough if this is possible.

I would also be happy to trade my controller in for a micro-usb or usb-c model.
              Thank you
