    Not very elegant, but you can use the conversion / adaptors that Leaf owners use. Not cheap though. There’s a few versions around. I know in the UK, there’s a Leaf forum that has had good results with the EV Boy type.

    I used the common Bosch brake ibooster used on many cars in my conversion. There’s no specific integration required if you get one that isn’t Can controlled. There’s a great detailed write up on EV Create with a list of units. Also another list on OpenInverter.

    You should wire it so that it can turn on during charging, but it won't turn on during chademo charging since no power converson happens then ( so no loss that heats up the PDM / OBC). So instead of wiring from ignition you should wire it directly to the 12V. However for most ev conversions the fan never turns on because not that much heat is generated either when driving or charging

    Thanks! all is good now. The new oled screen works fine, and the little box it now came with, makes it a bit easier to mount.
