    I've heard the BMS messaging is more complex. @isak has been working on it a while, not sure of where it currently stands or if that's really the issue

    Hello @matthewjstead and @KoduEV sorry for the late reply. Using other cell types with the leaf bms is not something I have done and can not really recommend. I know there are companies in China and on Alibaba that offer Leaf replacement packs with other cell types. I have heard from customers who have had success with that but can't really recommend it since I haven't tested it myself and don't know how it works
