@isak Is there a way to use the Nissan AC compressor? As I understand it, it gets ac-current from the inverter?

I have scoped the inputs, it has B+, Gnd, and input via LIN bus. in order to turn on the compressor one would have to be able to decode the LIN and be able to send the signal to the compressor when you want it to turn on.
Would be the same to turn on the PTC heater.
Seams like it would be pretty simple to do for someone that had the ability to do it.

I bought a simple controller to do the same thing with the electric power steering rack on an RX8 that replicates the CAN signal to the controller that the engine is running so that it turns on the Assist.

I am not sure if the compressor has HVB+ and HVB- going to it all the time. or if it has some contactors in the PDM that turn on with LIN control as well. have to pull the PDM open and see...
I do know that the PTC heater has HVB+ and HVB- whenever the Main contactors are closed. so probably the same with the A/C compressor.
