@RufusL I looked into the two error codes and they both had low DC voltage in common. May want to try checking the 12 v battery to see if it is running at full voltage

Thanks! The batteries are modules from 24kwh pack. Purchased both as-is from another ev conversion builder who had already reformed the modules into what I am calling two sets that you see in my pictures. For each set I have a large set bms bus bar orange thing. To make this work I had to do some rewiring of the bms harness which involved re-pinning the connectors. I was able to locate and find connectors (Mouser) similar to what nissan used in the original bms harness. I purchased the little pins (both male and female) along with a crimper. Now the bms control module sees the same modules as it did when the configuration of modules came out of the pack. My next work is to create an "extension cord" that will allow both battery sets to lie end-to-end like you see in the photo. I have pinout diagram I drew that might help anyone that wants to do same thing I can share if interested and/or can put up photos.

Could there be an issue where the inverter or motor is missing a ground to the chassis? Could the input power to the inverter be hot but something in the controller or BMS not activating because it is missing a pathway to chassis ground in the 12 system that it would normally have through the physical connection with the pdm that is now gone? Not sure if I am thinking this out fully but might be worth establishing a temp route to chassis from the inverter housing just to see if that might be the problem?

@RufusL That is some good info to know in advance thanks. I would love some pictures of your motor and PDM mounts. Always wanted to try welding - this may be the time. As the PDM is mounted I cant tell how the radiator/fan is situated. Are you using the original truck radiator?

Working on a similar build but with a 1980 pickup. I have not yet tried fitting the stack back in the truck (w transmission). Wondering now if the PDM will clear the firewall! I have seen several builds move the pdm to alternative location and connect with cables so I know it can be done and will take encouragement from your build!

I started my conversion several years ago with 2014 Leaf Gen 2 stack and 24 kwh leaf modules. Purchased many parts individually so has been hard to reverse engineer and have been reliant on web forums such as DIY electric car; the deep dive electric vehicle conversion book; OEM manuals and Issac's how-to guide. I am using of course the RESOLVE controller, but also engine adapter and coupler from BRAT industries. After a couple of tries was able to get the coupler to fit using a clutch plate hub and help of Prosise Metal works.
