@ianlighting i have increased the file size limit to 10MB and increased the max image width and height to 8000 pixels now. It should be possible to upload directly from your phone now

Resolve VCU not connecting to BOSSACould you send a screenshot of what it looks like? Do you have a Resolve controller with an USB-C or micro USB connector?

1971 Triumph SpitfireHi!
Sorry your email response got lost we will send it next week -
1966 Jeep CJ5 4x4, GE Jeep!Hi!
I would recommend being concise in your emails and not sending 14 emails in the span of 2h. It does not really make it easier for me to help you. To focus on what I think the issue is and as I wrote to you via email. The last console log you sent showed that the leaf BMS think's the packs voltage is 511V which i suspect is due to the voltage sensor is disconnected or not functioning properly. I would focus on solving that -
1966 Jeep CJ5 4x4, GE Jeep!As you can read in the Owners manual linked here: https://resolve-ev.com/pdfs/owners_manual.pdf
This is a "warning light" signal from the BMS I would recommend updating the Resolve controller to the latest software update here: https://resolve-ev.com/update
If that does not solve it I would try to troubleshoot if something is connected wrong to or from the BMS

Resolve controller with Orion BMS and new NMC CATL modulesThe BMS IDs from Dalas opensource dbc file covers everything, but as far as I understand it's not possible to set for instance 13bit signals with orion BMS which makes it not possible to use instead of Leaf bms out of the box. But I could be wrong?

Using the Nissan Leaf power stearing? No we do not have any plans to specifically integrate it
-
Using Nissan Leaf brake booster? No we do not have any plans to get the specific brake booster from Nissan working, there are other ibooster solutions that are reverse engineered already.

1971 Triumph SpitfireWe'll send you a new OLED. Awesome build!

@isak When you speak of resistive heaters, is this what you mean? Can I remove these things along with the wiring?
image url)Yeah that's exactly what I mean, you can remove them

Throttle signalsYes both pot values are read and a short to 12V or 5V goes outside the specified range and is treated as 0 torque.
Nice to hear

It's hardware differences that prevent the use of chademo on the later Leaf PDMs chademo is getting phased out and we are looking into some other charging solutions

1966 Jeep CJ5 4x4, GE Jeep!@leshall89 All the BMS connectors are necessary except the ones going to the relay that controls the resistive heaters that sit on the cells (not all leaf packs come with resistive heaters). It's the cables that go from the BMS to a rectangular black box. Temperature sensor cables connector and the 12V and CAN connector and the rest of the balancing wires are all needed for the BMS to not throw a fit

Resolve controller with Orion BMS and new NMC CATL modulesHi!
Unfortunately not. We have some beta testing with orion BMS, but it requires new software. Since it's not possible on the Orion BMS to program a canbus interface that completely imitates the leaf bms. It's only possible to set signals in mutliples of bytes on the orion SW (as far as I know). -
Is battery heating working with the controlHi!
Yeah, the battery heater is not enabled. In the repair manuals they state they start up at -20 C and stop at -10 C. And with them being hard to fit for most builds i never enabled the functionality

Vw T2Hi!
The Resolve controller and leaf BMS have can termination. Unfortunately some older OLEDs also have can termination. but this is removed in newer versions. And it has not caused any issues for any customers as far as I know. So a tap in from the wires between the controller to the BMS is best. -
New battery cells with Leaf BMSHello @matthewjstead and @KoduEV sorry for the late reply. Using other cell types with the leaf bms is not something I have done and can not really recommend. I know there are companies in China and on Alibaba that offer Leaf replacement packs with other cell types. I have heard from customers who have had success with that but can't really recommend it since I haven't tested it myself and don't know how it works

Tag @isak if you are looking for a reply from me!I just went in on the forum and saw a bunch of new messages! Unfortunately a little later than I would have liked to. But I will check on the forum more often in the future. If you want to get my attention and make it easy for me to see the post just @isak me and I'll get a notification

Oled screen dead on first startup Leaf 2017 80kw 30 kwh Type2 (euro) charge portHi @Emanuel !
If the wheels are turning now I believe you unfortunately got a bad display (we always test them before shipment but we have had a batch of bad OLEDs recently) Could you please reach out to us via email and I'll send you an new one. info@resolve-ev.com -
Need a guidance for troubleshooting via CANBUS messagesHi!
I have attached the dbc file that the OLED display uses to show all the states. Those are really the only signals that I have added to the can network. Otherwise as you mentioned you can find all the Leaf canbus messages from dala here: https://github.com/dalathegreat/leaf_can_bus_messagesLet me know if there is something else you want to know!
